What is Vaser High Def & Mid Def

Assisted High Definition LipoSculpture, or VASER Hi Def is a more specialised fat removal and body sculpting Vaser Liposuction procedure that can be used on many parts of the body and is suitable for both men and women. It works through the removal of both superficial and deep fat that surrounds muscle groups to enhance the visibility of underlying toning and musculature. The process uses unique ultrasound energy probes, which break down fat and enable it to be gently removed from the specified areas.

The procedure

There’s no need for a general anesthetic, although patients can opt for a conscious sedation for extra pain relief and sedation) or hospital stay.

A Vaser probe, which is around 3-mm in diameter, then emits an ultrasonic fat-specific wave, which breaks down the fat cells.The Doctor is then able to sculpt and define the underlying muscles through a gentle suction process which causes minimum damage to surrounding tissues which causes minimum damage to surrounding tissues.

Recovery

As Vaser Liposuction does not require general anesthesia or an overnight stay, downtime is minimal.  We recommend you should be able to return to your daily routine in approximately 2 – 5 days following the procedure. Each case is individual, but 3 – 14 days recovery time is expected.

You will need to wear a ‘compression garment’ around the treated areas following the procedure to aid the healing process and improve the results of the treatment. Dr K will assess the exact amount of days you need to wear your garment depending on your results, as well as devise a bespoke aftercare plan with an array of treatments to speed up the healing process and enhance your results.

Results can be seen immediately; however, the results will continue to improve over the next three to four months.
